Many on the left are saying the Green Party should not run a presidential candidate in 2020 because the left should unite behind the Democratic nominee in order to beat Trump. The Green Party is saying the left can’t wait until 2020 to raise solutions the two capitalist parties ignore for the climate emergency, the new nuclear arms race, extreme inequality, and other pressing problems.
