Petitioning for ballot access is already underway in Georgia and we need your help! The State of Georgia has one of the highest signature requirements in the country for statewide party ballot access. We must collect 65,000 valid signatures prior to July 1st. This means we actually need to collect closer to 100,000 raw signatures to be safe. Unfortunately this unconstitutionally high requirement has prevented the Green Party of Georgia from obtaining a statewide ballot line.

This means that the Hawkins/Walker campaign will have to seek ballot access in Georgia as independent candidates. The requirement is much lower, but still very difficult. We will need to collect 5,250 valid petition signatures by August 14th. In order to be safe from potential challenges we hope to collect around 10,000 raw signatures.
