Petitioning for ballot access is already underway in Arizona, and we need your help. The Howie Hawkins campaign and the Green Party of Arizona will need to collect over 38,000 valid signatures before September 4th, 2020  just to get Howie on the ballot as an independent in the state.

Petitioning for statewide party ballot access already took place earlier in 2019. However, due to the unusually high signature requirement combined with the state legislature moving the deadline forward three months, the petition drive was unable to get the party on the ballot. Between the state party and the Hawkins campaign, we were able to collect over 10,000 valid petition signatures. This was done well over a year in advance of the election. Unfortunately, the State of Arizona determined the numbers to be insufficient, and denied our petition for statewide party ballot access.  Now we take this battle to the courts to challenge the unconstitutionally obstructive threshold and deadline change.

Since there is no telling if and when that challenge will be successful, the Hawkins campaign must now pursue ballot access in the state as an independent candidate. Petitioners are already on the ground collecting. Contact one of our coordinators today to find out how you can get involved, and help our campaign to get on the ballot in Arizona!
