Yesterday I wrote about the devastating impact of economic warfare against Venezuela by the US. The
special rapporteur on Venezuela for the UN Human Rights Council said last September that these
sanctions should be investigated by the International Criminal Court as crimes against humanity.
Today a study released by the Center for Economic and Policy Research finds that mortality statistics in
Venezuela indicate that there were 40,000 excess deaths from 2017 to 2018 as US economic sanctions
took effect.
Demand Congress act now to end the economic sanctions.
Support the Embassy Protection Collective that is sitting in at the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington
DC to nonviolently block a takeover by the US-backed coup forces any day now.
The US continues to accelerate its policies as a deadly and dangerous rogue state. President Donald Trump and the other thugs like national security adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in his administration have unilaterally instigated atrocities against Venezuela and elsewhere.
The US Congress is in thrall of the nation’s deep state that includes sadists in the CIA and the host of other criminal and secret three-letter agencies that run amok around the globe. The Congress sickenly cheers the horrors that the administration and deep state heap on its victims around the globe.
If the US public does not have the stomach to wrench control of its own government from the elites that only love money, then it will fall to other world powers to end the US illegal hegemony. The declining empire is inviting its own destruction.
Hey Eddie, I agree that our evil empire is in decadent decline and it will take a massive amount of intestinal fortitude for We The People to take back our rigged elections from our Facist Rulers; that’s why I wrote initially to Howie about transforming Los Angeles into an artistic battleground with the top priority of striking on Election Day for True Voter Freedom because the Electoral College is a stranglehold on what should be a vibrant democracy- instead We have the tyranny of two evil war parties that allow no free and fair elections from the greedy billionaires and their corporatized warmongers that own both sides of the rotten aisle and most of the complicit mainstream media- the first step to “wrench control” from the manipulative elites and their money-worshipping lackeys is to boycott all neocon artists and neoliberal frauds (whether they be Repubicscums running for office or Demogorgons on television) until We have a valid multi-party system that allows fair competition and accurate reporting. How does the worldwide masses genuinely supporting a Green Libertarian Socialist Labor voting coalition in America sound to you?
Howie I would like to know more about your thoughts on illegal immigrants. Will you continue the fight to build a wall since congress does not act on this? Current funding that states get even though they have stated to be “sanctuary cities”?
No, Richard, I believe in freedom. Walls are what authoritarians that don’t trust the people build, like the Berlin Wall that East Germany put up in 1961 until the people finally tore it down in the revolution of 1989.
I support of freedom of movement, like they have now in the European Union. Open borders, not no borders. People check in at border crossings. Criminals and terrorists are detained. Everybody else is free to move back and forth across as a fair trade zone for work, shopping, and recreation. Anybody who crosses the border other than at an official border crossing would be detained and prosecuted.
In the meantime until we have open borders, I support Sanctuary Cities that tell their local law enforcement agencies to not detain people at the request of ICE or CBP without a court-ordered warrant. Most local police officers want this policy as a matter of public safety so that immigrants—whether they have legal status or not—are not afraid to call the police when they need assistance and to cooperate with police if they are victims or witnesses to crime.

You S-U-P-P-O-R-T the Maduro dictatorship ???????????????????????????????????
Howie supports self-determination of the Venezuelan people, and he believes that Maduro is the legitimate, democratically-elected leader of Venezuela. Dictators are not elected.
Further, Howie believes that the United States policy of imperialism and regime change, regardless of who is in the White House, must end.
